WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL SITE OF THE KING CITY SADDLE CLUB!

We are a not-for-profit Club and our mission is to promote and encourage equine events of all disciplines.

We are located on approximately 168 acres on the corner of Miller Lake Road and Idlewood Road, northeast of Mt. Vernon, Illinois.

Our facility includes a large covered arena, complete with lights, sound and sprinkler system.  We also have a tractor shed, tool shed, cook shack, shower facilities, and twenty-five electric campsites.

The majority of our grounds consists of timber, rolling hills and creeks which make for some amazing trail rides!

DIRECTIONS TO OUR FACILITY: (There are several ways to our place from different directions - please use these until you are familiar with the area.)

Take Rte. 37 North of Mt. Vernon OR South of Dix by 5 miles, looking for Idlewood Rd. There is a sign on the East side of the road that says King City Saddle Club. Turn east and go about 2 miles. The Club is on the right side of the road.

MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

Our goal is to provide a safe, fun environment of equine events for people of all ages and interests.  We want to see the next generation carry on whatever discipline that interests them and continue America's love affair with horses.  Each discipline is organized by a committee of people who are members and want to participate in that particular event.  Our membership fees are $20.00/year for family (everyone living under one roof) and $10.00/year for individual.  One of the best benefits to our members is their ability to use the arena and grounds whenever there is not a show or event taking place.  in 2007, we had 200 memberships and 443 members.  A recent addition to our club is the Marion County Search and Rescue Unit.

If you would like to become a member, please print above form, complete information and mail with payment to address listed on the form.
